CUSTOMISED CISTERNS

As you may have seen recently on Sarah Beenys Restoration Nightmare we specialise in the manufacture of bespoke cast metal cisterns.

Using a dedicated template we can create a pattern and cast your own house name onto the plate of our famous Deluge cistern. There is a one off charge of £350 plus vat for this service irrespective of the quantity of cisterns required.

Prior to casting we will email photographs of your template for approval. The final cast can be painted in a colour of your choice, polished, nickel plated or coppered. These cisterns can be used as either high or low level. The process takes around six weeks to complete.

COAT OF ARMS

We were recently commissioned to manufacture a quantity of cisterns for Brunels famous ship – the SS Great Britain. This involved hand carving the Official Coat of Arms in wood – a laborious task taking over 80 man hours – and transposing this on to our cistern template. From there it is taken to the foundry and cast in marine grade aluminium. The finished product was then fettled and polished.

Should you require something similar the cost from the creating of your bespoke Coat of Arms would be in the regions of £2000 plus vat.
